I'm Laurie...

... at heart I am a healer, with a foot in both the spiritual and material worlds. To come to this point in my life & be able to offer what I do, I have had to go on a long journey of self-healing & initiation. Taking this time to understand myself clearly & experience many of the problems I am here to help others with, is the path of the authentic 'wounded healer'.

I am also a man with a love of creative entrepreneurship, nature, healthy living and exploration of the world with a fascination for simple truth.

It is the combination of these two worlds, the spiritual and the everyday material which has created a 'practical spirituality', utilising spiritual wisdom for practical solutions and healing in the physical world.

Both worlds inform the other; our material life challenges often have a spiritual origin, and the material world informs and reflects that which we cannot see in spirit. Without both we are essentially blind in one eye.

This is what sets my mentoring apart from others and helps people to truly awaken and transform their lives.

My Story

For the past twenty years I have been on an intensive journey to self-healing, and self-acceptance. This has been my initiation as a healer. Starting with debilitating chronic ill health in my twenties, I found my path of purpose and passion, to heal myself and understand the truth of health and healing.

Through this journey I have used my personal challenges to motivate and inspire me to investigate the depths of my life, my being, and the many paths to healing.

My challenges are the challenges of many; to be fully present here in this life, to truly accept myself and to truly live the life I came here to live.

The healing and understanding I have received over these twenty years has helped me develop a strong intuitive sense and profound spiritual connection which helps me to swiftly uncover and address underlying issues to peoples' challenges.

For the past 6 years I have travelled the world on my own unexpected pilgrimage. My trust in the perfection of life and the intelligence behind it has deepened greatly through this process to the point whereby I know this wisdom can help many people and I am being asked to share it.

The more I trust in the perfection of life, the more I can allow life to express itself & evolve through me.

When the intelligence of life is simply allowed to flow, even a tiny acorn can grow into its' fullest expression as the great oak. It can do the same for you.

This is what I teach, to let go and let 'life' lead.

Experience

20 year personal healing journey & initiation as a healer: Life is the greatest teacher if you recognise it as such. My life experience is the greatest offering I have as a mentor & healer.
Personal Trainer & Holistic Health Coach - Many years working closely with clients privately & in UK gyms.
Teacher & Lecturer - I spent a couple of years at Islington College, London teaching adult learners in Sports Science & Personal Training at Foundation Degree & Degreee Level. I attained a PTLLS teaching qualification in this post.
'Health Foods' Entrepreneur - With an entrepreneurial spirit even at school, I realised in my twenties I needed to work for myself, initially setting up a private PT & coaching business, & going on to found and run 'Laurie's Foods Ltd' for 12 years, once the leading UK retail brand of raw & organic sauerkraut.
Healers & Healing - Healing has been my incessant drive & passion and has led me to working deeply with many healers, teachers & mentors throughout the world, whilst also studying and practicing certain modalities myself (see 'quals' below).
Life Experience - Chronic Illness, Business Creation, Business Loss & Bankruptcy, Relationship Breakdown, Death & Grief, 'Failure', 'Success', Health & Healing, ADHD, Travel, Magic, Adventure, Transformation!
Plant Medicine Experience - 10 years’ + experience working in ceremony with plant medicines (Ayahuasca, Iboga, Psylocibin, San Pedro). These have played an important role in my own healing, and only recently 'life' asked me to assist in such healing ceremonies, which I take as a great privilege.
Chronic Illness - My healing journey consciously began with chronic fatigue and environmental illness in 2003.
World Travel through 50'ish countries.
